I made the seriously best smoothie this week.

Experimenting on your behalf sometimes has my family gagging, but faithfully swallowing. Albeit they hold their noses as they swallow.


Here goes:

¼ cup carrot seedling tops – yes the green ferny bits

¼ cup radish tops and 1 radish ( I harvest a leaf off each growing seedling)

½ cup peeled chopped pineapple ( very ripe one)

250mls filtered water
1 organic banana

1 red apple

½ cup of fresh mint

2 baby spinach leaves

5 cm cucumber

2 raw free range eggs

½ lettuce

Blend and enjoy

It was really delicious and nutritious

IF YOU DO NOT WANT IT- DO NOT SAY IT!

And that is all I have to say on that!!!



Sometimes when we say affirmations and positives, our brain blocks it as we may be feeling discouraged or despondent at the time.

Please do an experiment for the next 6 weeks.

Ask yourself WHY something has happened e.g. “Why am I healed physically and emotionally?”

“Why am I achieving 16 lengths in the 50m pool comfortably and in a shorter time period every week?”

“Why am I financially successful?”

“Why am I overcoming my need to have sugar in any and all forms. “

These are just some examples. Think your questions through. Sometimes we ask for what we think we would like to have yet do not really want.

As some of you know, we have been blessed with and by a Labrador puppy.
Last week, he brought me my running shoes at our usual rising time of 5am.

When I declined his offer he dropped MY shoes, left the room went to my son’s room, took Alex’s BMX shoes and proceeded to whack Alex with them.
A dog that understands the value of exercise.

I went swimming- Alex and pooch went running.

Please remember, even if it is just pointing and twisting your ankles while you are on the phone/at work/talking to your best friend, or lifting your heels of the ground to work your calves-movement is really vital to maintain our wellness quotient


Just 5 minutes a day makes a HUGE difference to your life. Exercise , by the way, is not chewing your fast food snack……!

Various studies have shown that it is better to stand than sit, to walk than stand and to keep moving.

If in a desk bound occupation, please make an effort to stand at least every hour , even if it is just to do a few stretches, 2 calf lifts…”.MOVE YOUR BODY” I am not sure who the song is by, it just fits so well here.

    Got to agree with news letter, i have started to stand out of the chair at least twice a day ...Result...
    my back is not so sore any more..oh and here is someones addendum to your news letter message (good one i enjoyed thanks)

  2. Maybe this is a little to heavy but i do believe it is related to the massage you are talking about...

    ...a person’s action brings elevation or decline to the whole world, his decisions do not only affect him alone...

    we need to think before we say or do anything..
