Growth is optional

The fact of the earth moving incrementally every day is something we tend to ignore, except maybe to bemoan the moving of time. The fact that we may choose not to move with it and to grow is a very scary concept. Many do not realise that by choosing to stagnate they are left behind. Literally. You can be left behind while remaining in the same spot. A wise person once told me that many die but are only buried many years later. I am not sure whom they were quoting, yet the analogy is very apt. As a family we are very blessed to be readers and learners. It took a while for my son to realise the value of reading, but he is voracious in his reading habits now. We have also learned to apply what we read wherever practical. just reading is pointless unless there is a value to it. ( I still read fiction and manage to apply lessons gleaned from these to real life events.) Currently our lives are being impacted by the books  " Business secrets from the Bible" b
