Growth is optional

The fact of the earth moving incrementally every day is something we tend to ignore, except maybe to bemoan the moving of time. The fact that we may choose not to move with it and to grow is a very scary concept. Many do not realise that by choosing to stagnate they are left behind. Literally. You can be left behind while remaining in the same spot. A wise person once told me that many die but are only buried many years later. I am not sure whom they were quoting, yet the analogy is very apt. As a family we are very blessed to be readers and learners. It took a while for my son to realise the value of reading, but he is voracious in his reading habits now. We have also learned to apply what we read wherever practical. just reading is pointless unless there is a value to it. ( I still read fiction and manage to apply lessons gleaned from these to real life events.) Currently our lives are being impacted by the books  " Business secrets from the Bible" b

Gratitude

It is always so incredible to see the difference in people as they go from being below their wellness quotient to reaching it and beyond.  It is a blessing to watch how this positively impacts their families, co-workers and people in their environment.  Do they always reach optimal wellness? Not necessarily.  Some learn to work in the parameters of their bodies and lifestyles. However, their minds and thoughts are way beyond their physical wellness quotient-allowing them to achieve and reach for greater heights.Especially when they take the time to learn what their bodies and minds are telling them and to take steps to work with rather than against themselves. An attitude of gratitude really makes a difference as well in this journey. I am so very grateful for all the mentors, teachers and coaches that have empowered me to help others feel gratitude that they are on a path to wellness in all areas of their lives. I am also very grateful to my own body and family for
